Rehoboth Long Coat German Shepherd Dogs & Puppies
Coat Colors & Lengths
German Shepherd Dog Puppies colors change quite a bit as they grow, none as much as the sable. But even the black and red changes too. The tan or red coloration you see on the black & red puppy will spread as he grows older as well as get deeper in color. Some pups may even have a white spot on the chest or on the paws, these fade into the other colors as they grown as well. Here you can see how a few German Shepherd Dog puppy changes as they grow from puppy to maturity. Also note that your German Shepherd Puppy should not be considered fully mature until he/she is 3 years old.
